FYW handles your compliance obligations proactively and on time. And then we go further, planning your tax position year-round so nothing arrives as a surprise.
Years working with Australian founder-led businesses
A larger-than-expected tax bill. A missed obligation. A fringe benefits liability nobody flagged. Not bad luck - a systems failure. Nobody was watching the calendar on your behalf.
BAS due, lodge it. Year end, file it. Between those moments - silence. No planning, no flagging, no forward view. The model is transactional by design. Tax planning is not included.
The decisions that affect your tax position need to be made in March, not June. By the time EOFY arrives, it is already too late to act on most of them. A proactive firm starts the conversation months earlier.
Every BAS quarter, FYW prepares and lodges your BAS ahead of the due date. We review your cumulative tax position year-to-date. If your PAYG instalments are tracking incorrectly, we flag it and work with you to adjust before it compounds.
EOFY planning is not a June conversation. FYW initiates the review in the months before year end — looking at your tax position, timing of income and expenses, and any decisions that need to be made before 30 June. By the time EOFY arrives, the key decisions are already made.
Every obligation tracked. Every deadline met.
Before it arrives, not because it has.
Most compliance work arrives as a surprise because nobody was watching the calendar. A BAS is due and the accountant scrambles. EOFY arrives and decisions that needed to be made in March happen in a panic in June. FYW works differently. Every obligation is mapped when you come on board. Every deadline is tracked. And the work begins before the deadline, not because of it.
Every BAS quarter, FYW prepares your Business Activity Statement, covering GST, PAYG withholding, and any other applicable obligations, reviews it for accuracy, and lodges it on your behalf ahead of the due date. As a Registered BAS Agent, FYW clients receive an extended lodgement deadline beyond the standard ATO date.
We review your cumulative tax position at each BAS cycle. If your PAYG instalments are tracking incorrectly relative to your actual tax liability, we flag it and work with you to vary them before they compound into a year-end problem. You are never surprised by what is in the account.
If FYW manages your bookkeeping, super guarantee processing is handled as part of that engagement. For tax-only clients, we can review your super obligations at each BAS cycle, and build a compliance calendar for your business on request.
Your tax position is reviewed quarterly. By June, you already have a clear picture of what your liability looks like. There is no number that arrives without context.
Receive an ATO letter or query? Forward it to FYW. We review it, tell you what it means, and handle the response on your behalf. You do not need to deal with the ATO directly.
Before major decisions, equipment purchases, new directors, restructuring, talk to FYW first. We tell you what the tax position looks like before you commit, not after.
BAS lodged. Returns filed. PAYG obligations met. Super processed on schedule. The compliance rhythm runs without requiring your attention. You are informed when things are done.

Three businesses stayed ahead of their tax position. Yours could be next.
Every FYW client has a named senior advisor — one person who is accountable for your engagement, knows your compliance calendar, and flags issues before they become problems. That advisor does not work alone.
Tax returns and BAS lodgements keep you compliant. Business advisory keeps you informed, and ahead of what is coming.
FYW's business advisory engagement sits on top of the compliance work. Cash flow forecasting so you see problems before they arrive. Scenario modelling when a decision has financial consequences. Strategic guidance when the stakes are high. Not once a year at tax time, as part of the rhythm.
For quarterly lodgers, due dates are typically 28 October, 28 February, 28 April, and 28 July. BAS agent clients often receive extended due dates. FYW tracks and manages every lodgement deadline on your behalf. You are notified when it is done.
Yes. FYW manages the entire transition. We contact your previous accountant, obtain the necessary records, update your ATO agent nomination, and bring everything current. Most clients are fully onboarded within 30 days, depending on the complexity of the transition and the responsiveness of the previous firm.
Tax planning for a growing business covers timing of income and expenses, structure review, superannuation contributions, asset write-offs, trust distributions, and EOFY preparation. At FYW, this is part of the ongoing engagement. We review your position quarterly and flag anything that needs attention before it becomes a decision made too late.
Forward it to FYW immediately. We review it, tell you what it means, and manage the response on your behalf, including payment arrangements, objections, and queries. You are kept informed. You are not required to deal with the ATO directly.
Yes. For founders who hold their super in a self-managed fund, FYW manages SMSF tax returns and compliance as a separate engagement alongside the business accounting.
